Inspired by the samba schools of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, this community transforms every gathering into a carnival of sound, color, and movement. All you need to know
Joining Praias do Isar is a lot easier than you expect. All you have to do is show up in one of our weekly rehearsals and we'll welcome you with open arms. No previous experience required and in case of percussion, instruments are provided. You are of course most welcome to bring your own instrument as well.
Costs and Registration
Samba Percussion:
First tryout session is free of cost and requires no registration. Afterwards, you'll sign a contract with Cria da Casa Kultur e.V. For percussion there is a fixed participation fee of 20€/month (10€ membership + 10€ for rehearsals) regardless of the level and the number of hours.
Samba Dance:
For dance classes, there are no free tryouts and becoming a member
of Cria da Casa Kultur e.V. is optional. You can choose from two
formats:
- As a member of Cria da Casa Kultur e.V. you pay
60€/month (10€ for membership + 50€ for dance
classes)
- As a non member, you can pay for drop in
classes. This requires no registration and you pay
25€ for each class. Please note that being a non
member means you will not benefit from exclusive Praias do Isar
and Cria da Casa Kultur e.V. offers.
